A co-worker of mine came up to me this AM and asked me about a old 750 his Father-in-Law has in his garage in San Jose California. The F-in-Law is out here in Omaha for the College World series. Rooting for UCLA.  ;) The coworker tells me his F-in-Law hasn't had the 750 out of his garage since 1984! But it is a 1969 bike in Ruby Red. I asked my coworker if his F-in-Law wants to sell it or restore it. He said he is on the fence. I told Stu(co-worker) that if he could send me some pics of it and what kind of price he would be looking to get for it, I would definitely be interested in it! He said he would get back to me.. Yaaay ;D ;D
When I get the pics I will post them on here for you "Experts" to let me know if it is a SC or a Diecast.
Thanks,
Brian "bj" Atwood

Good luck in the quest!

If the engine number is CB750E-1007414 or lower, it is a sandcast.

You sent me your cell number... will give you a shout soon... isn't much to see with my sand cast as it is a project... but you can come down and take a look if you like.

Btw, if the bike is a 1969 it is quite valuable even if it is die cast. The prices have gone nuts on the 69's (in my opinion).

Regards, John

This lead turned into a dead end. Owner took the bike to Charlie's Honda in San Fransico, for a full restore....  :P So that's a good thing for the bike...not so much for my quest tho.... :'(
