VIN 330 Engine 288

Here we go again Another early VIN bike bites the dust. Hopefully those that didn't get what they wanted last time will get what they want this time. 
BUT-There are a lot of parts that are not early items and I doubt are from this bike originally. Tank, petcock, RH switch, seat, carbs, top triple clamp, airbox to name a few

I agree, more parts are not early and not came from this bike.

Another early VIN bike bites the dust.

It appears this one bit the dust before it was torn down.  The damage to the frame and cases would indicate a front end crash.

Is the 11mm mirror in fact an 11mm?  The wrench being held up to it in the photo is hard to judge weather it is going to fit around the stem or not. 

Certainly a better bargain than the mirror with a cracked bracket listed for nearly $300.00.

Those cases were going to need a whole lot of welding to fix up all those cracks!

The frame too.  That's why I didn't bid on them.  I did get the crank though.  There was only a few dollars bid on it and because I figured it had to be a 10mm rotor bolt hole I figured I throw $40 at it.  Got it for $36.  It is pretty rough.  It's in about as bad a shape as E100's was but I think it can be saved if I ever need it.

I was very surprised at the money paid for some of these items. The problem with these parted out early VIN bikes is the amount of unique parts fitted. It will take a lot of money, parts searching time and perseverance to bring one like that back from the dead IMHO. KP
