I don't think it is a VIC restoration, realy a beautiful restored bike, but some incorrect parts for a VIC WORLD resto: HM300 pipes, rear sprocket, dot winker lens, tachometer cable clamp and oil filter cover (copy? correct for the bike?).

I vic uses HM 340 pipes, my friend has one of Vic's bikes and it has stamped pipes.

Yes I heard that Vic sometimes  used HM300 'paragraph' pipes but don't shoot me down if I am wrong.
Bit naughty I know but I Googled Vic's past  eBay sales when I first got my early diecast and noticed at one stage he had had  several auctions for new  K1 seat covers and foams so deduced he was probably using a new K1 seat (available at the time new from Honda at reasonable cost) as a good source for metal pan, fittings ,trim & strap. So I did the same. Bought a Yamiya seat now though.. ::)

The only other sandcast  'guru' I know of in the UK, apart from John Wyatt, is an active  member on here !  The seller did sell a bike restored by John Wyatt though a a few months ago and stated in the auction it was one of John's restorations.

Cheers ...Ash
