Honda CB750 Sandcast

Is anyone selling correct upper and lower brake hoses/pipes for a 1969 diecast?

Like a mug I didn't buy any of kp's hoses when I had the chance. What's happening with the hoses? On eBay most of them appear to have a black anodizing on the metal parts. Even the ones on Yamiya750 appear to be "blacked off" on the ends and the brake pipes also look to be black with Bright Zinc Plating on the ends. My question is: Who can supply original looking hoses and a pipe, that is, that have the metal end parts in Bright Zinc Plate finish? Regards, TC10

Thanks for your input Gerard.
I've since spent hours on the Internet searching some more and have found this set of hoses, they suite my long neck application perfectly, I think.

After a lot of searching I settled on two hoses from Diablo Cycle.

These hoses are long necked and are correct for my 1969 diecast. And as you know if you want short necks for your sandcast kp is the man to see.

The metal neck fittings are pretty near to correct, look at the pictures and decide for yourself. I rubbed the white lettering on the rubber parts with a cleaning product then raided my daughters art supplies and found an indelible ink called Prismacolor 'Yellowed Orange.' I wound up using a combination of Yellowed Orange, Spanish Orange and Orange. They're all pretty much the same. This color most matches the factory color on my original factory fitted hoses. Note that my upper hose has no markings at all on it. The lower hose is pictured.

Of course I'm not apologizing for being a bit obsessive about these hoses. This is what makes it so much fun doing a restoration.
