Honda CB750 Sandcast

Rear axle installation

It appears as if the rear axle is inserted from the sprocket side and the nut is on the brake side as shown in the parts break down. I would like to confirm this as the genuine Honda service manual that I have has some pictures with the nut on the brake side and some on the sprocket side.

I have pictures that show it on either side. I am going to install with the nut on the brake side as shown in the parts break down.
I've seen the future, I can't afford it.

These pictures are from a genuine Honda service manual, p/n 623001, printed 1973. Wheek and tire section, page 128 and 129.

CMSNL.com shows the nut on the brake side. Where do they get their parts fiche pics from?
