Oilfilter guideribs

Hi!
Yesterday when I mounted the refurbished original oilfiltercover on E43 I found there are no guideribs at the enginecase. At E302 (one of them whithout castingdate) there are two ribs as usual. I suppose these ribs appeared the same time rear left Enginebolt shifted from M8 to M10. I mean only 140 first enginecases do not have the ribs.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for posting Bo!  E254 has ribs.  i suspect you are probably correct that ribs disappeared at engine bolt going from m8 to m10.
