Marcel,
i refer to the plastic transparent gems, flah light, neutral, oil and turns.

Ok, but if someone else is able to produce these, it is of course very welcome as well. I live in The Netherlands and the labour costs are quite high here. May there is someone who lives in a country where labour costs are more reasonable.

I have made some changes to my website: http://www.cb750faces.com/

Any suggestion and comment is very, very welcome!

I have requested a price for producing these gems. They came back with a estimated price of producing only the molds the between 5,000 and 6,000 Euros, excluding producing the gems itself. If I order 2,500 pieces the additional costs will be € 2,000. Excluding 19% VAT. That is a total cost of € 9,520. I have to sell a huge number of gems to only get out of the costs.

May be that one of our members live in China where the labour costs are must lower.

Marcel,
in this case is better use the Swarosky!!!!!
Or real diamond, we've a friend in South Africa? :D :D :D :D

Really the only gem that is abitually faded is the yellow of the turns, but i've repainted in the back side with the clear/yellow paint used for the decoring of the glasses.

If it is only the yellow one and you can use a transparant paint, it's much cheaper. I have got a question of one of the buyers from the SOHC forum that the jewels have melted, probably by using bulbs with a too high wattage. I think that that is rare. I have several used K0 and K1 gauges where the jewels are in all cases in good condition.

WOW, :o :o :o
i've reived them today.
Very great job Marcel, very cool parts, i retain them suoerior respet the Yamiya's reprop.
The orange zone of Yamiya is so purple,  not deep orange, the right colour for the sandcast bykes.
Compliments again.

Yes thanks Marcel, I received my five sets yesterday. they are very nice, and the only thing i have noticed is the inside edge of the holes for the idiot light jewels is the colour of the plastic and on the original it is black, I suspect i can fix this in short order with a black permanent marker pen.
otherwise these are very NICE. Thanks And Best regards Tom
I sold my first Sandcast and regretted it till I bought it back 6958/7149, its taken a few years to get a couple more 6946/7169, and 6970/E6956

thank you all guys for your feedback.

And indeed, base color of the plastic plate is white and the edges can easily be colored with a black marker. I noticed it later and should had mentioned it. The holes are cutted out after printing, so it is not possible to color the inner edges automatically. And when I use a black base plate, the plates will not be translucent.

Be careful with the marker. If the ink comes on the front surface, you can see it. Stay within the lines.

After a successful introduction of the K0 face plates I am proud to announce that the face plates are also available for the K1 and K2. Ya all have Sandcasts, but you possibly also own a younger CB750 or know someone who owns one. See pictures on my website: http://www.cb750faces.com/photos.php?view=thumbnailList&category=5
