Steve, Chris, Wayne and myself all share the chores/jobs/tasks of keeping the website and this board updated and we each have our specific tasks. Chris keeps the VIN directory updated but any of us can go in and add a new VIN or picture, amend a text etc.
I was adding another VIN to the directory (current sandcast VIN 4311 on eBay) and noticed that the 4XXX series of VINs have a larger proportion of engine numbers that are lower than the VIN than the other groupings. I hadn't really noticed that before thinking the spread would have been uniform.
I did an exercise some years back and compared the ratio of lower engine to VIN numbers to higher engine to VIN numbers and if memory serves me the proportion was in favour of lower engine #s to VINs. Just a bit of trivia
