What i need is to be in contact with someone that owns a nearly pristine 1969, Honda Cb 750 , to possibly use the owner and bike in a pilot filming for a possible TV show to be filmed in the spring of 2011. The production will be done by some broadcasting students from the University of Texas, and Iwill control the topics , and direction. We were hoping to find someone, in Texas or as near as possible, and do the film in the Texas Hill country. The focus will be Japanese bikes that impacted the motorcycle market the most in the 60's and '70's, the marketing push to the network's will be that people in our 50's and 60's watch alot of TV, and grew up loving these bikes. This will be on a volunteer basis. Suppose the two pilots that we submit to a network , get accepted and some sponsorship comes in , and things get going the way we hope it will , we could compensate then, until that happens, maybe a copy of the pilot will suffice.

I am in AZ but if you give me the dates a little in advance, I can be in TX hill country with one or 2 pristine 1969 CB 750's.  There are some pics at http://www.madmattsgarage.com

I have a red one I just finished in addition to the blue one shown.

I also have a 1972 Kawasaki H2 in pristine condition, which is another defining bike of that era, if you are interested.

Great Matt, That info steve gave you is correct, wonderful, the H2, certainly is on the list, maybe make the first two pilots in one week end, I'll let the guys know we have a feature bike, and they will get historical facts, some honda commercial footage and cycle world stuff together. You can private message me your contact info , and we will talk, and make plans. Most likely will get things rolling mid to late Jan, and my thoughts of filming you riding the bikes will more than likely happen in April.
