YAMIYA Exhaust

I plan on buying YAMIYA Exhaust for 576 but I want to drive it on occasion. Just trying to get an idea of how many others venture out with the YAMIYA exhaust or if they just buy numbered exhaust for riders.

I've got the no number Yamiya's on 5383.  I don't ride it much but I figure you have to ride it some.  Now when I put the Lotus Roots on 97 I might have to think about that.

I ride my bike as much as I can.
My first sandcast has the No Number exhaust.
My second sandcast has the lotus root pipes on it.
I like the sound of the No Number exhaust the best, they are less quite.

Interesting. I was under the impresion that LR's sounded better. When we aren't under a layer of frost here in Canada 1941wld, I do indeed ride like there is no tomorrow.  (I did ride to work in 4" of wet snow once though!)

My sandcast #1 has original no# pipes on it, I ride it once a year or so.  The pipes are decent but #2 was rusted thru and repaired.

Sandcast#2 has a kerker header and I am currently riding it every week,  The header was new when I put it on.  I LOVE the sound and the way it runs.  I will probably put some Yamiya's on here eventually. personally, I would still ride it with the new pipes.  I would just try to keep the bike really clean and keep the pipes dry inside when parked.  Always warm it up fully until the pipes are hot before parking it.  Spray some wd-40 in the pipes when you park it for a while.
