After all of the heavy going on this forum last week, here is a bit of light relief. The UK chopper scene in 1970 and a  UK roadtest of a Uk K0 (we never got any official Sandcasts, although the 'Brighton Show Bike' was a Sandcast I believe.

Did this for my new friends on the hondachopper.com site who are investigating the bad guy who reneged on my k0 rear wheel sale.

Missing my daily fix of your postings markB

ChrisR - where is YLY70H now? Last taxed in 1979 according to DVLA site

Cheers

In the book "Honda CB750 Gold Portfolio 1969-1978" there is an arthicle (5 pages) about YLY 70H with original license plate. The bike is owned and restored to perfect condition by a man named Keith Newton. I do not know how old the book is or if he still is the owner.

;) i don't think Keith owns that bike anymore, i think he sold it quite a few years ,and a figure of £10,000 comes to mind, but there again my memory ain't what it used to be  ::)
