It's at $10,200 with only a couple of hours left so I know I'm jumping in a little late but I'll say $14,000 and reserve not met.

I noticed the spread on the frame VIN and engine VIn is 297. If memory serves me correct are most bikes not within 200???

Well fellas I'm surprised. I thought Mark was dreaming  ;D Wow!  :o He was on the money. I really thought this bike would be lucky to get past $10K but how wrong was I. Oh well, we can all wallow in the knowledge our hobby/passion is not a total waste. But geeze! Those exhausts were disgusting  :'( How could anyone do that  ??? KP

I took a quick look at the VIN Directory and especially when you get to the higher numbers there are at least a few that are more than 200 apart.  So I agree that most bikes are within 200 but 297 doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

I'm still surprised that the reserve was met.  It seems like reserves have been set pretty high lately.

not a bad basis for a restoration....  real shame about those pipes though.
the frame/engine spread is about right - I have 5528 and the engine is 251 away from it.

regards,
steven.
