Title: 1970 K0
Post by: Tews19 on February 08, 2019, 11:46:21 am
I picked up my survivor K0 from Maryland last year. It was one owner with all documents from the shop it was purchased at. This same shop did the replacement cases when the chain through after a few years. The best part is this shop is still in business. She has 13k miles and ran perfect. Very smooth however she does have an ugly leak where the cylinders meet the cases on the right backside. I found an engine that is off by 1k numbers which i think is fine. What do you all think? Currently the replacment engine i picked up is stripped down to the cases. The plan is to swap literally every part into the stamped cases from the original engine.

What are the numbers of your bike. Seems like a plan while the engine is apart

30xxx. I can get the full numbers once I'm near the bike.
