I found the code 235 match pattern, this code corresponds to a CB175...
Why put seats with a reduced filling rate...  Is it according to the different fuel
of one country compared to another?
The jet slow come in several sizes with different references ...
Why is it not the same for the seats?  Did we have 2.0 seats in France in the 1970s?

Apart from the very poor choice of music :-) this K0 is very well restored, we just wonder if these lower fork are not K1 because of too intensive polishing? Something had to be found !!

I just saw that I had a set of carbs with seats with the 2.0 keihin mark and my other carbs have the seats with the 2.5 mark?  However I did not find a different reference has 16125-235-004 even on the carbs of K1?
Obviously the hole on 2.0 is 2 mm and the one on 2.5 is 2.5 mm.

Which basic model does the reference 235 initially correspond to?
Who would have information about these 2.0 seats?

Hello,
Indeed, the box was packed in the bubble much too early before the varnish was completely dry and very hard ...
You must always leave at least 10 days for a complete hardening at a temperature minimum of 20°
Yes, you can try this method recommended by Sam, but you see with the guy who did the job before doing the irreversible damage because he is the professional and he is best qualified to fix the problem and you see what he is doing can advise you and do about this problem ...

Yes, they are always at 4 cables, but for me they are not correct for the
Sandcast period because they are much too late and surely after E-1040000 >>>>
The reference is written on the top of the support plate B750A but it is perhaps the same reference on the support
of the very late carburettors and that will not tell you more, you have to rely only on the body of the carburetor. .

But after, that these are only my observations and my conclusions ...
What could it be else?  All opinions are welcome !

Hello 42barab :)
Nothing written on this subject to my knowledge ...
I noticed this little detail on two or three K0s very very late when the production of the K0 and the K1 was going to "overlap" and therefore when the carburetor bodies started to be modified seen from Production K1 ...
I don't know if I am making myself understood with the translator ...?
You will notice the same detail in the photo of the K2 carburetors and there is the same detail on the K1s .
And I don't think the Honda factory made two kinds of carburetor bodies during the official Sandcast period...
It must therefore be deduced that this model of carburetor is very very late in the production of the Diecast K0 and very close to the production of the K1 ...

A another even more worrying detail...
These very late carburetor bodies from the end of K0 and beginning of K1?
Is this possible on such a machine?

Look carefully, you will find others!
For example, the plug to connect the 14 mm oil pressure gauge when normally it is a 17 mm...
But after all, everyone is free to do according to their means ...
But we are not talking about $20.000,000 on this Sandcast... but rather $50.000,000  :o
so at this price no excuse is allowed and especially no bad part  ;)
Me, I call it a reconstruction but not a restoration ...

Quite frankly ... What is this strange paint color on the crankcases and the cylinder/cylinder head block?
Never seen such a color on a Sandcast...  Unless it is the rendering of the photos which have this effect?

Personally, I think it's better to modify an original part when possible rather than buying a bad reproduction
of Vietnam... So yes, it is surely possible to do so provided you redo the chrome plating of the mudguard ... :D
And if you are convinced that your Sandcast is more authentic afterwards, then that is the only thing that matters and this perfect! :) ;)

Hello My friend Kp,
Thank you very much for your sympathetic response :D
I too am very happy to be here a and to be able to share and discuss again with all of you ...
I will explain my long silence to you in PM.
For the Yamiya Ducktail, I was talking about the used one in bad condition with an exorbitant
price of USD 1,900.00 Oups !! ...
And on the other hand for the reproduction they made, this beautiful reproduction made it possible
to save a lot of Owners who no longer had the original Ducktail seat ...

Hello everyone  ;)
In my opinion, this 17 hole Ducktail seat Yamiya is way too expensive for its condition,
because in addition the red foam must be completely dry and disintegrate like all seats
in their 70's juice and given the condition of the rusty support...

All these little stories and anecdotes are very interesting to read...
Here are pictures from 1971 during a Critérium 750 race at the Circuit du Castellet near the city of Marseille in the south of France. It's my best friend who is the number 11 at the head of the race ...
He was completely crazy in competition and as much on the roads or even in the streets in the middle of the city.
I had another friend who had a Norton Commando Fastback and I must say that when we were racing on the road, he was still far behind me with my CB750, it was a K0 from April 1970 bought back next in flight from my Sandcast in March 1970 in Paris.

What is the jerk who said or wrote that the CB750 are wriggling like sausages ?
Thanks you Steve for sharing ;)
