Thanks for the opinions. I'll leave the gauges alone for now.

My gauge faces suffer from the typical bubbling and fading. Will it decrease the value of the bike if I have new gauge faces put on the bike? Everything is original, and I'm not sure how collectors look at opening up, or refacing gauges. Advice appreciated.

Someone in Italy is selling some very nice reproduction faces on ebay.

My 1970 sandcast came with amber turnsignal lenses. Sold in the US.

I drive mine, and drive it hard. I replaced the stock chain with a 530H, it is a lot stronger. No problems.

I have 1970 CB-750 VIN 1005383 and it does not have a reinforcement bar. This bike has been in my family since 1973, and I am sure that no one replaced it.
