A picture is worth a 1000 words; the orig CB750 green cover 1969/70 shop manual has excellent pics throughout and official cable routing diagrams. But I'll try, anyway: You first screw the entire cable onto the throttle housing (which is already loosely attached onto the bars), slip the cable barrel onto the plastic pipe, pass the entire cable on top of the brake line and clutch cable thru the top triple tree hole, pass it on the outside of the wire harness on left side of frame neck, sneak it under the loosened coils slightly to the left, pass it thru the frame triangle, slip it thru the carb tops and springs, then feed it into each carb slide. The 2 short cables go on 2 middle carbs; the 2 long cables go the outers. Welcome to the club.

Make sure the carb slides all have the cutaway facing the airbox side; you can mix them up left and right, causing a major running problem. Been there, done that.  ::)

Hey thanks. Although I've already routed them. I took a guess and apparently it was the right choice.
