Title: Blue green color match

I have completed the body work on 786/917 and would greatly appreciate some help on how best to picking the colors to repaint the bike. I have looked at the color chips but don't want to blow the selection . Is ther color codes that would help. Thanks. Colton

There are posts on here I believe about getting the blue-green just the right.

there are no color codes. 

what Wayne says is probably best and easiest. 

Chris Noel is very happy with the painter he sent his parts off to.

i've heard some guys have had their paint done by the man who does Vic World bikes.

if you know a local painter who can manage House of Kolor candy paint products, that's the route i went.

Correct Steve. Blake Conway does VW's bikes. I believe Mark has had a couple done there as well.

That's right.  He's done red blue/green and gold for me.  Not the cheapest but I wouldn't use anyone else.

In Brazil it is not allowed to import paint by airmail, than i reproduced the Candy Blue Green perfectly at a DuPont dealer, based on my airbox, who owned the original paint.

Below is the formula to be reproduced, I believe the codes are internationaly the same, and can be redone.

Hope this "recipe" can help someone.

BASECOAT (polyester for 0.45 liters)

DX 36: 10.00 grams
DX 24: 0.65 grams
DX 27: 1.65 grams
DX 54: 10.00 grams
DX 34: 8.00 grams
DXBP: 350.00 grams

MIDCOAT / CLEARCOAT (polyester for 0.45 liters)  

DX 24: 15.00 grams
DX 25: 2.00 grams
DX 28: 6.00 grams
DX 09: 0.50 grams
DXBP: 380.00 grams

1 pound = 453.59237 grams
