Hi at all,

from the Mick Walker's book (Honda Production Motorcycles) i've shotted  some photos, good for the "Late Pre.Production" area of the SOOC, but the quality is poor and i'm not able to extract these in good quality.

This bike has the SPEED LIMIT LIGHT on the triple three and the special active drive gear on the speedometer in KM. :P :P :P

Anyone knows the exact codes by part list of the light unit and of the electrificated drive gear of the speedo?

Very cool parts, where to find separately from gauges?

Engine Mechanical / Clutch assembling and 1° gear when the engine is hot.

Hi to all,

2 stupid ask.

1)How to assembling the clutch disks, i refer to the sequence from the inner:

metal/ferodo/metal/ferodo.....

6 Metals and 7 ferodos.

It's necessary to start with metal or ferodo?

Seeing the part list, appears that's necessary to start with metal but, in the out side you conlude the assembling with 2 ferodo, with in the spacer ring.

Some doubts i've. ??? ??? ??? ???

2)When the engine is hot the research of the neutral is difficult and the inser of the 1° gear it rumorous.

Depending from clutch or is a normal defect? >:( >:( >:(

Your suggestion are welcome.

I've seen in more forums that there's not the possibility to return, easly, to the main site.
It's possible build a "MACRO" to readdress, immeddiately and in any moment, to the SOOC main site to get any type of informations?

Dear friends,

do you remember my doubts about the coloured blue point printed on the cases of Mick's bike (vin 1002987)? and on the other vin 1003240?

Now appears on ebay (#260538134916)a couple of crankcases with red point printed on the top case, near the sandcasting date, as the blue.

Appears too easy to think that this was, on the line production, the destiny of each engine for the matching colour bike.

Those point appears on the engines over 10023**.

They was the mark of a different casting productor or different line production?

My doubts remains!

What do You think about?

Please, go to to see your bikes, if they've not the repainted crankases.

Parts Q&A's and Feedback. / Cable in 5mm for Early 28 Carbs

If someone has on his Sandcast the set of 28 Early carbs with 5mm adjuster, please note that Motion PRO made for me the cable in all 5mm size, this is the code:
"(02-0143) made with 5mm housing".

Exhaust / Lotus Root NO.NO EARLY

Hi to All,

i'm searching for 1 set of Early no.no Lotus Root, original or Jamiya REPRO.

I've also contacted Yamiya but they say me that, now, there's not a subscription for the EARLYS production.

If anyone find the EARLYS, we all togheter can create a new subscription list or inquery direct to Yamiya to push to start a new lot production.

We can do it togheter.

Anyone who hav a set? new, repro, used, restorable? Or know where I can get a set?

Engine - Cosmetic Only / cranckase, cylinder and head, finiture

 ???  The cranckase was natural from casting.
To restore it, is necessary use high pressure sicilicious sanding or other sand tipe, or chemical product to extract the original brilliance?
Where find the high temp. paint to remake the cylinder & headcylinder?
