Hello,
could it be that there were Sandcast engines with the number over 17000 in France?

Scammers and Forgeries / Beware of scammers
« on: January 21, 2022, 04:49:12 am »
Hello,
Beware of scammers!
Yesterday someone tried with the following photos on ebay classifieds in Germany, to generate advance payments for a motorcycle which does not belong to him.
VIN 1375 from Fred Anliker.
I am afraid that he used the photos from our forum. I recommend not to post vehicle documents in the future.

Please be careful. Bandits lurk everywhere

Greetings
Johann

For 7000 dollars engine and frame would be very cheap.
If someone is looking for a suitable engine with matching number for his frame, he will be willing to spend a lot of money.

Hello KP,

I have written to the owner.
It should cost 34,500 euros and is with German papers.
He writes the following:
The Honda can be viewed by appointment in Someren-Eind (Netherlands), 35 minutes by car from Venlo (German border).
It is also possible to arrange a video call where I can show you the Honda in detail. Many detail photos and a video on request.
Best regards

Hi there,
The following sandcast is for sale in the Netherlands:

https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/honda-cb750-sandcast/1931099686-305-2127

It should be a European version for the German market.

What do you think of it, can that be possible?
Best regards

Thanks for the tip KP.
Are there such rivets in stainless steel? Since they have to be added when the fender is already chrome-plated?

best regards
