Title: Rear Fender
Post by: Bickle on February 26, 2010, 06:57:03 pm
Not sure if this has been covered...don't remember it...but I'm getting old.

The early rear fender wire holding tabs on the side ...the wire passes through horizontally and the newer ones appear to pass through vertically. Different tab orientation. Has this been noted before? Is it in the website?

I'm getting old too, Steve.

I don't recall this detail being identified.

Good observation, Steve.

Hi to all.
Steve,
Look Nishimatsu store.
Nishimatsu builds a "limited" perfect repro of the old rear fender.

I think I stumbled on a very good condition, two hole rear fender today.  It appears to be exactly the same as the one on my Sandcast.  Is there any place where a part number or a way to ID the part.  It has the tail light attached , almost perfect.  Maybe my lucky bastard moment ?.
