Thanks, Steven ! Hmm. another one looking pretty much correct/original except for exhaust, kind of rusty, but overall complete and not beat up. Great LH horn rider or basis for restoration.
Be interesting to see if it hits reserve and what it might sell for.
i'm thinking $12Kish......... ?
-
Am I wrong in spotting a thin lip cover and short nut speedo cable end Thoughts ???
-
In the picture taken from the front of the bike it shows/indicates no thin lipped alternator cover. Possible both tach and speedo have short nut type cables. It is hard to distinguish at the distance the picture was taken from, also has long chain guard. Marty K.

Wow at this rate all 7414 bikes will appear in time, seems like they are a weekly occurrence coming up for sale

we had a l o n g dry spell where there were no sandcast bikes coming up. before these two, there's only been a couple i can remember on ebay in the past year or so. i seriously doubt all 7414 exist.
-
Yes you are right Marty Good spot. Still not sure about the nuts
-
This one's over $15K and as is will MAYBE be a good rider and for whatever it sells for, not worth much more. To restore it, at a $15K selling price, then the cost will be up another $10K, at the least. Now the investment for this bike being restored is in the neighborhood of the lovely original 1095's asking price.
Perhaps, unfortunate these bikes are on ebay at the same time.
-
My own view is that this bike is overpriced now at $15K+. I would think $12 to $14K. There is still a bit not original and it has significant weathering but a good example nevertheless.
-
I would tend to agree, on the other hand, overpriced or not, i hope it meets it's reserve and the winning bidder makes good on his purchase. And i hope 1095 exceeds it's starting price.
in both cases, i feel either unlikely to happen. both bikes have their issues. and bidding behavior seems a bit guarded.... ?
-
The reserve has been lowered. Will it sell?
-
overall a pretty nice bike, but heavy on the patina. i'll be surprised if it meets reserve. i suspect seller's reserve is more than the market can bear.
-
Final bid 16,100 reserve not met. What are the chances of it coming up for auction again in the near future? Marty K.

i can't remember ever 3 sandcasts on ebay at once. probably going to see more as time goes by; baby boomers growing older and such.....
-
These 3 sandcasts seem to be really bargain price in comparison to standard (but very nice) K0´s sold in winter for 12000-15000. Very bad step to list all sandcasts together at the same time- big mistake. By the way, when looking at the adds, I´m wondering how difficult is to find a bike with nice original seat and original cover.....

The first auction got kady458 up to $16,100.
He could have sent out second chance offers on that auction.
kady458 seems to be looking for more than $16,100. on his current auction.
That seems a little high.
