pinback.  what's your real name ?  i really dislike having a conversation with someone i don't know their name.  FORGIVE ME !

this  44800-300-020 question is one i brought up several years ago.  based on my experience, i remember that parts between early early speedo gear box and later gear box, parts are different and do not interchange.  i seem to remember one of the differences was the front aluminum plug held in place by the small brass screw was a different diameter.  unfortunately, i honestly cannot remember, but i DO RECALL there being significant differences. as i recall the drive box was the one on 232 and the later drive box was a box i had laying around.  Mark would be the man to perhaps have the answer.
