This guy is as smooth as a good sh*#. He shows just enough of the inner surface but not enough to show the reinforcing ribs. Notice where it’s slipped in the lathe.
Turning down a finned cover to look close to an original takes a bit of time (and skill I don’t have), so I wouldn’t expect sellers to give them away, but just be up front and tell the buyer
