Your precious Honda CB750 K0 Sandcast deserves gauges that look like new. The plastic gauge covers are often cracked or faded. With these reproduction gauge covers, you can recondition your gauges so that these will look like new, even more when you replace the faces as well.
These covers are unique and the best available this moment. The black cover has an internal ridge. This ridge will help you to position the bottom plate easily.
This set contains two black covers with the transparent lenses glued in. The interior has the right light green colour.

Fellas, it's great to see much entrepreneurial risk being taken by members in relation to reproducing these very hard to find items. We have Steve V with his #28 carb fittings, Mark with his mirror stems and now Marcel with these spot on instrument cases. I do appreciate that Yamiya has the lions share of reproduction parts but seems to me that only us (that's we) enthusiastic collectors can pay the attention to detail when it comes to reproducing a part. I do hope we continue to support these ventures as reproducing a part is one thing but getting a return on the investment (read covering the cost) is the risk that sometimes goes unnoticed.
I do have to acknowledge that Yamiya sells some fine product that are 99.99% spot on, nevertheless, the home grown member product sometimes has the edge. Let's call it the "vested interest" factor.
I urge everyone who is a member of this board to provide comment/feedback on this post .... cos I care. Yabba Dabba ;D KP

And lets not forget the short neck brake hoses KP. All of the parts "our guys" have made available have been superbly accurate; none have disappointed when I opened the packets. The attention to detail stems from the enthusiasm / undestanding of detail correctness, and persistance of the talented individuals concerned. Many thanks to all.
Yamiya have of course made available a great range of repro parts, just occasionally missing that last 0.1% of detail correctness that maybe stems from the commercial / business approach they inevitably follow.
Cheers guys - Chris R.

Good news fellows. The new series is coming soon! I just received the prototypes and these are even an improvement compared to the previous ones. I have chosen another manufacturer.
The lens does have the silver ring already printed on the edge. That's the biggest improvement. The texture is more like the original.
The covers look great and do fit perfectly. Due to the small rim at the inside, you only need to insert the bottom plate into the cover with a little pressure and it fits! Compared to the Yamiya covers, these don't have these rims and you always struggle to get the cover at the right position.
And the price is much more attractive: only 160 euros a pair ($210). (Yamiya charges $322!! for less quality)
The first series is limited, the second series comes later. Please pre-register if you want to be the first: http://www.cb750faces.com/contact_me.php (http://www.cb750faces.com/contact_me.php)

How may I remove the original gauge cover?

How may I remove the original gauge cover?
You can remove the folded rim from the bottom plate with a screw driver. The original cover will slide off easily.
Meanwhile, the cover have improved, also the green internal color has applied now. I have changed the openings post with actual info and pictures.
In November, i provide a 20% additional discount!

Thank you!

I bought some faces. How do I attach the jewel into the faces? Glue ?
-
You can use a plastic glue or a polymer glue. I use a glue gun to fix the jewels
-
What color are tips of the needles ? Red or orange

i've always thought needle tips flourescent red. i use testor's red flourescent model paint.

I replaced a cracked lens on one of my gauges. I tried to get it loose, but it would not budge, very strong glue. I wound up breaking out the lens down to the rim. Then used a cutter in my drill press to grind out the edge of the lens. The sucker fought to the end, would not budge thill I cut out every little piece. New one glued in very easily.
