Title: Forgerie air box.

Do any of you know if a ridged air box can be made into a smooth side forgerie? I have never seen an original box to know if the ridged boxes have the same measurments. I have a ridged air box that I have made smooth, but I don't want to waist any more time on it if it will never look accurate even after I paint it.
