Title: K0 carb needle grips and washers
Post by: 71 V12 on August 11, 2020, 09:47:54 am
Hi,

I have looked at DS and CMS for part 161 513 00303 Throttle slide spring guide and 161 562 59004 Throttle needle grip plate clip. Both are listed as no longer available.

Can anyone recommend a source? I would imagine these parts are frequently required.

Many thanks,

Kevin

Most kits have these clips included and some have the gasket.

That’s very helpful, thank you KP.

Do you know if the throttle spring guide is actually required?

Interesting spot that - none of my bikes (including several still with original #28 tops, slides, etc, fitted) have ever had the spring guide in them. In fact, I have never seen this component at all / anywhere!

I am aligned with Chris, I have never seen spring guides in early carbs.
Best,

Sincere thanks for the replies👍👍 - just saved me $28 plus $14 shipping!

These bikes are expensive projects, I definitely don’t need to spend hard earned cash on parts that are not really required.
