Nice speedo, but it is not the early type I (holy grail type for me) and the back side of the faceplate is not painted. It is a late style Sandcast gauge.

Don’t know if s/he is a member. They have done a nice job though and if you were wanting a clock with early drive, then this would be a nice part. Yes a bit pricey but the Japanese market is more pricey. Yamiya would be asking much more.
It’s funny how markets operate. I remember a member recently had a NOS speedo for sale and struggled to sell it for under $500. Markets are fickle
