Anyone have a source for these pieces? My bike didn't have them installed when I got it so I don't even know what they look like. If re-pros aren't readily available, has anyone used that self-adhesive generic chrome trim stuff and how close is that to the stock pieces? Thanks!

Yamiya has them and there is another fellow who sells on ebay. The wheel trim strip used on the 1968 to 1970 Morris Cooper "S" is the same trim so look at what's available in the UK. KP

Thanks KP - I looked on ebay and all I found was some generic-looking chrome trim that I can probably get at my local auto parts shop. I'll check out Yamiya and the Cooper stuff - good pointers.
Actually if someone could measure the height of their OE trim that will help me find a good match. Thanks.

The Mini cooper trim looks pretty good (you have to trim one side of it to create and unequal "U" section, and do a bit or work with a heat gun, but looks the part. It used to come in a 5 metre roll for very little money too.

I bought a set from Northeast Vintage and had to send them back. They were very wrong. Don't buy them.

Try Allan Landry.

I can confirm, Alan was a very disposable person.
I've received at my home in Italy the Alan's tank moulding:PERFECT!
