Title: Bolt numbers
Post by: Garry32 on December 03, 2015, 03:43:53 pm
Hi All, does anyone know in the parts list, some bolts numbers end in 0A and some 0B.
Also does 0A at the end mean they are 8 Bolts and if there as no 0A there is no number On the bolt head.
Hope you can understand.
Garry :)

Do you know why some numbers are 92000 and some are not

92000-xxxxx hex head
93500-xxxxx pan head
93600-xxxxx flat head
93700-xxxxx oval head
The last five digits indicate the length.  Example -06025 an M6 that is 25mm long.
Some hex heads like engine mount bolts have different prefixes and some other screws have numbers like xxxxx-xxx-xxx.

Is any of the bolt numbering instructing whether a 8. Bolt is to be used or a plain head to be used.
