Title: 3999/E3573 on ebay
Post by: Steve Swan on April 23, 2013, 10:39:36 pm
This has to be the most entertaining ebay ad I've seen yet.  Perhaps I'm misinterpreting what sellers saying.  Or, I have Alzheimer's.

Quote from seller's auction, "Note:  This "sandcast" or wet cast motor weighs over 300lbs MORE than the die cast motor.  The motor alone weighs almost 500 lbs!!!"

I'd be curious what the seller believes the entire motorcycle weighs.

Haha I saw that as well when it was posted. There were only a couple of pic's, one of the bike and the others the paperwork. I just chalked it up to another ebay scam. I also loved the part about engine weight. Must be "lead cast" ;)

I asked seller, for shipping purposes, what he thought the bike weighs.

His reply,

"I would guess about 600 lbs or less. "Your Honda dealer will have it soon. The Honda 750 Four. When you twist the throttle, remember one thing. You asked for it."
