Any recommendations on shippers who can pick up a bike in Canada (Ontario) to be shipped to the USA? (Texas) Thanks.

General Discussion / Shipping parts overseas that contained fuel or oil

Has anyone had any issues shipping a part overseas that contained a petroleum product? Things like oil lines, oil tanks or fuel tanks? I sold an item and now I’m wondering if it can go by air as it could contain residual fumes or oil.

I'm in the process of putting together a tool kit. In the following pictures, the tools on the right I'm almost 100% sure came from a 3 digit bike. Are the tools on the left also from the sandcast era? I don't want to mislead anyone when I get rid of them.

If you fail to do this, and I receive a non delivery to your email address I'll assume you no longer wish to be a participating member and your account will be deactivated. (posts will not be purged) This is very a very time consuming process so I would appreciate it if all members would take a minute on their end to review and update your profile if necessary.

While doing an update today I THINK the VIN directory page went to a backed up copy. I can't verify this as I saved the file again before I realized there may have been an issue.
Would all members (with the exception of Bo) please check the information on your bike(s) in the directory. If the information on a VIN requires updating in ANY way, please post it here. Please post only changes necessary to keep this thread clean. Thanks!

I received a ton of pictures of prototype 2113 and have started to assemble a gallery for members and the public to drool over.

I haven't been on in a while. I noticed the board order has changed, Beginning to End - Member Restorations is now at the top. Did one of the Admin's change this on purpose, inadvertently or do we have a bug? Just curious if anyone was in the Admin panel.

A friend found this bike in an abandoned house. Looks like early side covers, double cut fender? And possibly other early parts? Any thoughts on what we're looking at here? I'm going to go try and find the place again and have a closer look.

Report Issues - Bugs - Suggestions / Photo Gallery Hacked - Now Diabled

Some of you may have noticed an outage of our site 03/14 at approx. 6:00 PM EST lasting a few hors. This was the result of hackers placing malicious code in the Photo Gallery which in turn overloaded our hosts servers. Our host provider shut down our service until I could locate the problem.
In the end, I had no choice but to remove the Photo Gallery files from the server. I have a backup so hopefully I will be able to retrieve the images. I'm working on a new Gallery solution for members bikes.
