Title: carb kits needed
Post by: dougd on February 19, 2010, 07:57:40 pm
Does anyone have a source for quality carb rebuild kits for the K0? Honda just sells the individual parts - I'd like to buy a complete kit if possible. Can anyone review the ones they have used? Thanks.

I use the bowl gasket from Keyster carb kits. Otherwise, i don't care for the rest of the kit, Keyster parts i will not use are the main jet and needle, otherwise the rest is ok. Never been convinced the Keyster main jet and needle are the correct taper, have had problems getting the CO settings w/in spec on the exh.gas analyzer. I look for wear on the needles and jets, if they look ok, i use them and have not had a problem yet getting CO settings w/in spec with original needles. One person's opinion. Hope this helps.
