Title: Fork Oil Recommendation
Post by: Joe K on July 25, 2021, 11:05:57 pm
Hi,

What fork oil and weight do you recommend?  What is stated in the owners manual, which is not actual fork oil.

Thank you,
Joe K.

Hi :D

The fork of the CB750 was studied in 1968 by Japanese engineers to work with oil with a viscosity of SAE 10W30 for a quantity between 210 and 230ml or 220ml.
Personally, I use ATF Automatic Transmission Fluid oil which is much less sensitive to humidity than conventional oil. It is recommended to drain according to time or mileage.
Once a year seems to me to be ideal in order to hollow out the formation of mud and residues ...
