Another close one. Looks a little rough.

My own view on this bike is that it is "under bid". Other than a few items this is a relatively complete bike and has the makings of a great restoration project. I can only see a few items not original so I think anyone wanting to get into Sandcast ownership would do a lot worse. My thought at least KP

agreed. from a kwik glance it's relatively unmolested.

Seller relisted this one or one like it recently. New paint and re-done tank. It sold and came back the next day for 2 days with a buy it now $15,100 I think, or make offer price. Gone again.

That was 5624.

Ok, I stand corrected. One like it. It appeared to be a nice bike, curious it sold less battery and not running. Maybe some restorers want to take a motor apart before starting it?
I had to hear mine run. It got pressure prelubed with 2 quarts before starting it.

I'd like to hear them run whether or not I am going to take them apart (I probably will). It certainly indicates that there are a lot of things that are right with the engine. I'll buy an engine if it's not running, but for me the price goes down.
