I love it!! It must be my memories of Russ's stuff that made me put a Weber sidedraft on my Triumph!! ;)

Most of you lot wouldn't have a clue what a Cooper S was but back in the 70's I had a Morris Cooper S and I fitted a 45mm Weber carb and the only way it could be fitted to the engine was with the intake poking into the instrument binnacle which was located in the centre of the dash. Amazing piece of kit in its day those carbs were. They were the Ducks Nuts as far as performance went in the 60's and 70's. I thought I would share that with you all ;D

lol KP you have such a way with words!!  ;D and yes, we had lots of Coopers over here!
