alrighty then :)
we haven't started our game yet..... ;D
3 days of the auction remain......... :-X
What will be the winning bid............ ??? ??? ??? ???
i'm going to guess on the high side......... $192,000
imho, CB750-2113 IS the holy grail of things sandcast CB750. whatever the final bid brings, the price will be a bargain. it's value will only increase in the years to come. as far as historical value goes, it is priceless and belongs in the Collection Hall of Honda Japan.
LET THE GAME BEGIN !!!!

I will say 219.500 its just a shame im not rich
-
245.....
-
auction stop some hours before the end by the seller to save costs of ebay, sold directly in private ... ;D
-
Boswell Good Call
If not ......... 252K
I say 252K cos that's what I would pay if I was interested.
ps.
I agree with Steve about the Honda Museum. They should be buying this and not allowing it to run an eBay auction, so to the powers that be in Japan この自転車を購入
For me though, the Holy Grail is VIN CB750-1000001 ....... WHO's GOT IT cos I want it ...... please ;D

i don't think Vic would end auction early. ebay only charges a maximum amount for expensive items sold. something like less than $250, no matter the selling price. then again, i may be naive. not the first time.

OK, I've have to get in on this too. After a great deal of research and scientific calculations I used the *POMA method to come up with my prediction of $188,000.
*POMA = Pulled Out of My A$$ :D :D

POMA.......... i like it.
as far as Honda buying the bike, i imagine Vic's already contacted them since they bought one of his bikes to have in their museum already. if the case, seems odd Honda would not buy it.

I'm gonna say somewhere over 131,899.99.
Perhaps this guy would have more of an expert answer than me though.

Reportedly knows his stuff.

.....for a comic book, you'd think he'd better know his stuff for $999.
back to 2113, we're up to $131,900 and a little more than 24 hours remain til auction's end.
My hat's off to Vic for making some really fine and exciting machinery available the past couple years ;D
-
22hrs and 16 minutes left....... now up to $135,300 !
soon, we'll see what serious bidding looks like !
-
So, its down to whether or not there is a last minute frenzy.
$156000.
I agree with Steve's sentiment - belongs in the Honda museum, but I do wonder if such a thing would actually interest them - it was after all ONLY a stepping stone to the production version. No good to me either, cos I would have to ride it (occasionally)
Likewise KP's thought - what happened to number 1. Wonder if it went to the US, which dealer got the first batch, WHO bought it (and did they ever check the VINs, did they mean anything to that person). Probably got chopped!!
25 years on, and the whole CB750 thing still has a hold on me.
Cheers - Chris R.

Congratulations to Vic World! Today history was made once again on the CB750. Hopefully we will find out where it will go.
