Didn't he already part this motorcycle?  I seem to remember some 11mm stem mirrors selling a short while ago.  Now we have some 10mm's from the same cycle?  They look good and or correct but....

Approximate total from the auction was $12,400 (give or take) Would have made much more had he had the engine, tank and seat. I was surprised the frame didn't attract more but the big surprise for me was the 2nd generation long choke lever carbs that sold for nearly $1k and that was minus the slides and tops.

Ditto on the carbs. How about the brake pedal for $307.00?

Engine cases for E-1000224 sold last month from the same seller, which is why the motor was probably not included.

Yes, expensive but this early brake pedals are like 2 hole air boxes and long lever carbs; very rare  :o

Ok.  We know he has figured out what a sandcast mirror should be and he has a couple of pictures of early number vin heads but he sure is getting some mileage out of the same pictures.

Looks like a correct mirror though save the fact that the bracket is a bit narrow.  Be sure you also have a bracket that is on the narrow side or you'll be stuck with a mismatched pair.  Ideally this should measure 16mm wide but his seems a little narrow.

One of mine is 13mm if you end up with this one and need a cheap match.

Number 330 now!

Most of those items are not off a VIN 330 bike. In fact I think the #8 bolts are from his previous partings. Methinks the only thing he has off 330 is the frame as all else is mostly late VIN items

He is definitely using pics from early frames to turn over parts found else where in his yard.  The 11mm stem mirrors most likely came from 770 then he listed another set of 10mm stems with the same frame head pictured to spice up the auction.  Beware and make sure of the details in the pictures before bidding.

Purchased a GS1150E bored out to 1230cc Cylinder block from him that had some minor scoring from dirty use.  He camouflaged this by doing a sloppy hone job on them and making no mention of anything.  Luckily he only did minute damage but I still have to put a good cross hatch in the cylinders to use them.  I'm making sure those in thegsresources  and CB750Sandcastonly world are weary of him.
