Title: Who rides their sandcast?

 Mine had 8800 miles on it when I got it, It's over 9100 now. I like to ride it, it's now the best one I have but I'd hate to see the miles go over 10,000. I've done some service work and reversed a couple of modifications (handlebars and rear rim) but it's mostly original.

 I showed mine to a guy last week who said he rented from the original owner and had lots of chances to buy it from him cheap years ago.  He was shocked that it's special. Only the guy that stored it for years in his shop knew what it was, apparently he didn't tell anyone. Except me.
 I also know the guy that assembled it new from the crate, it was the first one sold here and red. He still owns the blue/green second one and he assembled it in January of 70, just before he went into the army.

I've ridden (and still ride) #5298 whenever I get the chance. Mileage 22,000 in 1990 when I bought it. 127,000 now. #302 has however not been ridden since restoration in 2009.

2157/E2241 is in regular operation.

Ride 130 from time to time. Much nicer than my later cb750s
