Post by: toycollector10 on March 02, 2015, 11:53:57 pm
Could someone please educate me about this eBay listing.

The current thinking seems to imply that the tools may not be what the seller is making them out to be.  Too risky with not enough backup information from the seller to have certainty of authenticity.

surely only production bikes have tool kits,,most of the tools honda needed would come from other models  like the 450 and others no need for special pre production tools

oh no... !  pre-production bikes came with a SnapOn roll around toolbox signed by Sochiro Honda and these three complimentary tools for the new owner.  the poor seller doesn't know the tools are worthless without the signed by Honda SnapOn roll around.

I heard they were used by mr honda himself when he replaced the motor on his sandcast, very rare and super valuable , I'd spend at least 10,000 on them !

Those tools must have been travelling around the world 4-5 times and had been in the hand of every important HONDA dealer in those days. Most of them donīt even live any more.

Just awesome.
