Exceptional K1. Based on that VIN, one of the very last K1's built too (never seen a 1112xxx VIN).

at least in my books, looks like it is going to break a record for K1 value, now at $19,310 and 17 hours to go. i've owned 5 of them, early and late vins, kinda wouldn't mind having the nice gold o.p. rider i had about 10 years ago.....

Other than the obvious cosmetic stuff and the 18/48 final drive gearing, a K1 rides pretty much exactly as 69/70 CB750 - same exhausts (and therefore sound!), cam, etc.

$21,100.... there's been RH horn sandcasts in comparable condition sold in the last 5 years that have sold for that amount. still, very hard to believe at $21,100 the seller made any worthwhile profit unless he bought the core for $500 or less.
agree with Chris, the K1 is a fine bike and imho, probably the best of the 9 years the series was produced.
