Title: K0 Head Unusual Feature

Anyone know what these are, what their for or other information. They look like plugs of some type and are on all my K0 heads

Never noticed those before. Maybe something to do with casting?
Will have to check some of my K0 heads when I can.

My two cylindre head have the same brands, an assumption... maybe it's the rest of the feedwells of molten aluminum to get into the mold ??
