Title: Valve cover gasket

Hi,
I am replacing the valve cover gasket on a 70 KO. The new gasket has a notch on it, I heard this notch goes on the left side of the motor. Is it the left side as your sitting on the bike or standing in front of it? I heard it will leak if not installed properly.

If it is the correct gasket, it should only fit on there one way. The valve cover is not usually prone to leaks, so I wouldnt worry about it. The head gasket is far more likely to leak!
