Hello to all,
the passed week, the 22th of February, i have been invited to Maranello for the World Premiere of the all new Ferrari FF.
During the event I have met and spoken with pilots Alonso and Massa and before the Gala Dinner we have been able visits them the assembly line 12 cylinders.
Suddenly, in a zone where the cars go to finish, I have seen a familiar color for my eyes, are approached to me and I have taken a photo of this beautiful Ferrari GTO (limited edition 599 pieces - lightweight - with 670hp), in candy ruby red, special order for a rich gentleman of California, only $25,000,00 more for the varnish on champion, painted by hand.
In the inferior zone of the chassis where it comes mounted the left door is still possible to see the coat base color silver.
I cannot describe my emotions of as the cars come assembled with taylored and maniacal ability in Ferrari.
So I have thought to ours candys ruby red sandcast.
It has been only a curiosity, I hope has made it appeal to you.

Wayne,
fortunately the dreams do not cost, also for me.
And I am a great dreamer, also at 54 years.
So.....if I sell all my bikes I can buy less than half than this fabulous car. :-\
mhhhh.....the accounts do not return..... ??? ??? ???
I think that I will continue to ride the sandcasts.

ahhh, but we can dream riccardo. I am close to your age at 53. I have been lucky having worked many years for one of the largest automotive companies in the world, to have driven and owned some very nice and I'll say cool cars. ;D My neighbors used to wait outside to see what I was going to drive home next. Often they were Engineering cars as we called them, and had features that never saw production. It was a lot of fun. I have seen mass production at it's finest, but also at it's worst. Both a learning experience.
So like you, now I hope that perhaps one more "dreamer" is within my grasp. For now I have my bikes. And like you, my investments have little or no return in this poor economy. I do have one very good thing to look forward to. My first ride on 576. :) :) :)

very, very nice, Riccardo. Wasn't it forbidden to photograph this car?

Before and during the visit we was adviced about the prohibition to photograph. :D :D :D
But I have not considered this warning, my passion I am stronger. ;D ;D ;D
I was like a child in a store of toys. :o :o :o
