Here we go. The parts are one thing but can anyone tell what the porkie pie is with this seller's listing

I just cannot cop blatant "bulla the shite" in listings. I can see why he has 6 negatives from 67 feedbacks KP  :-[

Was 6/69 too early for dated headstock tags?

If you look in the VIN Directory, you'll find where we've documented a few frame vins with dated tags.  I've not seen a dated tag before 9/69, but hope one will turn up prior to 9/69, someday !  September is so far the only month a dated tag's been seen.  In the past, i requested any/all owners of sandcasts to look at their tags to find a month earlier than September that has a dated vin tag.  The earliest frame vin with a dated tag is 5931 and is a 9/69.
