The #2 carb appears to have the early style vent - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150662146415&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150662146415&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649)

FYI...I had him measure the choke arm on the carb .........2 1/2"....which I believe is the short arm.

If the dimensions listed on the "88" differences are correct, 66mm (2.6") and 55mm (2.16"), then I would say 2 1/2" is the long arm.
-
i just measured now from the inside of the elbow on long (66mm) and short (52mm) arms. (will correct the measurement in "Distinctions.")
-
I stand corrected...depending on where he measured from....(inside or outside of the elbow)

Looks like the E365 cases and upper end went to the same bidder; i'm glad to see that.
-
Someone here? I'd be happy to see that too.

Please tell us if choke arm is, in fact, long.
-
Will do. Just got notice it shipped Fedex today.

When you receive the carbs, thanks for sharing the measurement ! With those horizontal brass vents, certainly would think the choke arm should be a long one !
Do you have an appropriately numbered frame for E365 ? If you do, very cool !
