As best i can recall, our first sandcast chopper and a new vin pair at that !

Too bad the frame is so molested.  Is 9/69 when they started putting VINs on the nameplates?

Looking through old threads, seems no one has written in saying they have vins stamped on plates prior to 9/69.  As well, seems September, is the first month of "riveted" plates.
