Title: Master cylinder assembly question

The parts diagram isn’t completely clear to me on the master cylinder parts.  Can someone confirm to me that the center part in the photo (Primary Cup) is oriented correctly? (http://cb750sandcastonly.com/coppermine/albums/userpics/10002/DSC01710.JPG)

Here’s a close up.  I think the cup goes over the end of the spring, not over the end of the piston.
