Title: Triple tree

Can anyone tell me the exact finish for triple tree top and handlebar brackets,I was under the impression they should be a satin finish.
Was it satin from the first sandcast throughout all models. Also paint or anodising.

the original finishes on these upper clamps i have seen all appear to have been a semi-gloss or if you will a semi-flat paint.  i suppose "satin" could be a word to describe the appearance.  the reason i say paint, i have seen so many upper clamps where paint is flaking off the aluminum.  (the paint on upper clamp not same as on frame.)
