How do we identify this as fake?

This link is to a genuine one. I'll up load the photos from this listing.
This seller is generally good with his listings but he dropped the ball with this.
Identification is as follows.
1. Wire ends have bullet connectors
2. Underside has either stamped or embossed "Made in Japan"
3. Below the turn knob is the letters HM stamped plus a number
4. The horn button has a Tek symbol embossed on the face.
