Title: Misuse of Sandcast Name
Post by: kp on November 05, 2016, 04:47:47 am
Here's another dodgy seller using Sandcast in their listing. This manual is dated 70 3 which is well after Sandcast production ceased. Yes it may be a nice manual for someone who has a post 70 3 bike but it's not a Sandcast era manual.  >:(

Seen that and thought the same as you. Is it genuine or a repro?

Given its genuine that seems to be a reasonable prize anyway.

Besides the print date, any differences to older manuals?

i would have to see the pictures on the inside of the manual to determine if it truly is an original copy.  i still have a few of these 70.3 manuals left, i used to sell them as repros, because that is what the ones i was selling are.  an excellent repro copy, but the pictures in this repro manual are not as clear as pictures in original manuals.

can't seem to resize pics from my phone to get them in my computer, otherwise i'd include pics of the manual i have which looks as bright and shiny new as the manual on ebay.

Where is a date on that little blue book?
But the workshop green one says on the back cover '70.1(SM)A1.
Really always believed I got it with the CB750 august '69.
